2019: Stage put together another impressive season, earning Second Team All-Conference and Academic All-Conference honors in addition to being a monthly member of the Fred Mitchell Award Watchlist. As a junior, Stage went 11-19 on field goal attempts and hit multiple 40+ yard attempts throughout the season. He became the school's all-time leader in made field goals against Augustana on October 12, surpassing Dan Pridon's previous record of 34. Stage was also responsible for covering 3115 yards on 52 kickoffs, 26 of which were touchbacks, and averaged 59.9 yards/kickoff.
2018: After an impressive rookie season, Stage earned All-Conference Honorable Mention and Academic All-Conference honors as a sophomore. He led the NSIC in several statistical categories as a kicker, including field goals per game (1.5), field goals made (16), field goals attempts (21) and field goal percentage (76.2) among kickers with a minimum of 10 attempts. His 47-yard field goal against Minnesota-Crookston was the fifth-longest completed field goal in the NSIC this season, and he was named both the conference Special Teams Player of the Week and national Special Teams Player of the Week on September 10. Stage was also a September, October and November finalist for the Fred Mitchel Award, which is given to the top place-kicker at the Division III, II and FCS level.
2017: Stage earned All-Conference First Team honors after an outstanding rookie season with St. Cloud State. Stage led the conference in multiple statistical categories for kickers after converting 11 of 15 attempts, three of which were 40+ yards. As a freshman, he broke the school record for longest made field goal thanks to a 55 yarder against Mary. Stage also averaged 58.2 yards per kick on kickoffs during the 2017 season.
