2019: In his first season with the Huskies, Knief appeared in all 11 games as the team's starting punter. In 70 attempts, he wracked up 2624 yards for an average of 37.49 yards/punt, including a season-long punt of 57 yards. Knief additionally recorded three tackles during the season, two solo and one assist.
High School: As a kicker and punter, Knief helped Ankeny Centennial to multiple conference and district titles during his career. In 2017, Knief was a member of the team that advanced to the state semifinals after winning its district. One year later, Ankeny Centennial repeated as the 4A District Champions. Knief was coached by Ryan and Jerry Pezzetti.
Personal: Knief chose St. Cloud State because of the team and school atmosphere. He is the son of Jason and Roni Knief.
