2019: Tretter redshirted in 2019 to preserve a season of eligibility.Â
High School:Â Tretter broke multiple school records as a wide receiver at Sauk Rapids-Rice High School and was selected to play in the Minnesota All-Star Game. In four years with the program, Tretter broke the school records for career receiving yards, single season receiving yards, single game receiving yards, career pass receptions, single game pass receptions, career touchdown receptions and single game touchdown receptions. He was coached by former Husky quarterback Phil Klaphake.
Personal: Tretter chose St. Cloud State because of the academic and athletic opportunities offered by the school. He  is the son of Jody Stangl and Cory Lease.
