Chris Rupe just completed an outstanding Husky football career in 2012. A two-year starter on the defensive line, Rupe played in 45 career games from 2009 to 2012.
His career stat line includes 31 solo tackles, 40 assisted stops, 71 total tackles, 17 tackles for loss, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
Rupe was a 2012 team captain and earned Honorable Mention All-NSIC Team honors. In 2011 he was an All-NSIC Second Team member.
Rupe was named the team "Lifter of the Year' in 2010 and was an Olga B. Hart Scholarship winner in 2011. He has been an academic tutor in Multicultural Student Services at the Richard R. Green House since 2009. He received a bachelor's degree in secondary education in May, 2013.
