Bio
2019: In his fourth and final season with the Huskies, Lawhorn earned All-Conference Honorable Mention and Academic All-Conference honors after serving as St. Cloud State's starting quarterback throughout the 2019 season. In 11 games, Lawhorn compiled a passer rating of 106.18 after leading the Huskies in passing yards, completions, attempts and touchdowns for the third straight season. Lawhorn once again ranked in the top half of the NSIC as a quarterback, finishing the season with 2196 total yards to average 199.64 yards per game. He compleeted 163 of his 365 pass attempts and finished 2019 with 17 touchdowns and just eight interceptions. Additionally, Lawhorn was a threat on the ground, as he ranked fourth on the team in rush yards (287) and finished the season with 2358 yards of total offense.Â
2018: As a junior, Lawhorn once again earned All-Conference Honorable Mention and Academic All-Conference honors after leading St. Cloud State to its best record since the 2013 season. Despite missing three games due to injury, Lawhorn ranked sixth in the conference in passing yards per game (203.9) and seventh in total passing yards with 1835. He completed 132 of his 265 passing attempts during the season and finished the year with 16 touchdowns, a number that ranked sixth in the league, and nine interceptions.
2017: As a sophomore, Lawhorn earned both All-NSIC Honorable Mention and Academic All-Conference honors after leading the NSIC in yards/game (209.0) during the regular season. The sophomore also ranked second in the conference for both passing yards/completion (13.93) and total offense (222.1) during the year, despite missing three games due to injury. Lawhorn also tied the school record for passing touchdown in a single game (5) vs. Minn.-Crookston in early September.
2015: Redshirted the 2015 season to preserve his season of eligibility
Prior to SCSU:  Played football at Germantown High for Jake Davis…was a first team all-conference selection and honorable mention All-State as a senior…also played on basketball that won three state championships.
