2019: Lauer missed most of the 2019 due to injury. As a member of the offensive line, he appeared in five games and made one start.
2018: As a true freshman, Lauer played and started all 11 games for the Huskies as a member of the offensive line. He helped the Huskies rush for 1560 total yards in 2018, which ranked seventh overall in the NSIC and fourth amongst teams in the North Division. Lauer also helped the Husky offense record 3712 total yards of offense while holding opposing defenses to just 14 sacks for losses of 88 yards protecting the quarterback.
High School: Lauer was a First Team All-Conference honoree in both football and track and field during his career at Cloquet. As a lineman, Lauer was a First Team All-Conference honoree and was voted the Northeast Red District Lineman of the Year as a senior in 2017. He also led the Lumberjacks to the state championship final as a senior, was a member of the Duluth Tribune All-Area team and selected to play in the Minnesota All-Star Showcase. Lauer was also a First Team All-Section and All-Conference member in shot put and discus.
Personal: Lauer plans to major in social studies education at St. Cloud State. He is the son of Jim and Tari, and his favorite athlete is Jared Allen.
