Prior to St. Cloud State: Graduate of Notre Dame College Prep in Niles, Ill for Mike Hennessey, Dan DeFranza and Rob Rosengrant...he was an All-Conference defensive end at Notre Dame College Prep at both a junior and a senior…All-Area in the ESCC...tallied 50 tackles, seven sacks, ten tackles for loss, three forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, and two balls batted down his senior season.
Personal: The son of Herbert and Lissett Betancourt...a business management major...enjoys scuba diving, traveling and swimming in his free time…his family has had the greatest influence on him…J.J. Watt is his favorite pro-athlete.
