Bio
2019: In his fourth and final season with the Huskies, Bruner earned Academic All-Conference honors and started all 11 games for St. Cloud State. As a defensive back, Bruner tallied a career-high 40 tackles (39 solo, one assist) for the Huskies, three tackles for loss, half a sack, one interception and three pass breakups. He recorded a season-high seven tackles in St. Cloud State's against Bemidji State in early November.
2018: In his third season with the Huskies, Bruner earned Academic All-Conference honors. He appeared in all 11 games for St. Cloud State in 2018, tallying 33 tackles (28 solo, five assist), two tackles for loss, one sack, one interception and six pass break ups. He recorded a season and career-high five tackles twice during the season against Wayne State and Bemidji State.
2017: As a sophomore, Bruner earned Academic All-NSIC honors and played in all 11 games for St. Cloud State. He recorded six total tackles (five solo, one assist) and tallied one interception.
Prior to SCSU: First Team All-Conference...First Team All-Region...named team defensive MVP...served as team captain...aided team to a state championship...an honor roll student...as senior had 64 tackles and an interception as a cornerback...selected to play in Wisconsin Football All-Star game...played football for four years on the varsity at Homestead High School for Dave Keel...a three-year track & field athlete that aided program to the conference championship in the 4x100 relay…also played two years of baseball and was Honorable Mention All-Conference as a senior
