High School:Â Schara earned First Team All-Conference and All-Region honors during his career with New Berlin Eisenhower. As a defensive back, Schara was named All-State Honorable Mention as a senior and additionally was a finalist for the Jim Leonard Award. Off the field, Schara earned Academic All-State honors, as well as academic honors from his high school. He was coached by Matt Kern.
Personal: Schara is the son of Jeff and Julie Schara.
