2016: Serving as one of the team’s captains
2015: Played in 11 games with 10 starts during the season…a Second Team All-NSIC North selection…recorded 24 tackles (15 solo) on the season… had a season high six tackles against Minot State (10/17) and MSU Moorhead (10/31) … recorded two sacks and a quarterback hurry against the Beavers of Minot State…tallied a sack against Winona State (9/26) for his only tackle in the contest.
2014: Played in three games and posted one tackle on defense.
2013: Played in four games...notched one tackle.
2012: Redshirt to maintain his season of eligibility
Prior to St. Cloud State: A 2012 graduate of Eagan High School...played outside linebacker and defensive end in high school...All-Conference in football as a senior...2011 team defensive MVP...team captain and letterwinner in both football and basketball.
Personal: Son of Mike and Allison Knutson...enjoys watching sports, fishing, hunting and bonfires with friends in his free time...communications major at SCSU.
