Bio
2019: Buckley had a breakout season in his third year with the Huskies after proving to be one of the top defensive players in the NSIC. As a junior, Buckley earned Academic All-Conference honors and appeared in all 11 games for St. Cloud State with 10 starts. He ranked second on the team in total tackles, tallying 58 (40 solo, 18 assist) during the season with 3.5 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, one interception, one pass break up and three quarterback hits. He recorded a season and career-high 13 tackles in the Huskies homecoming game against Northern State and recorded eight in St. Cloud State's loss to Bemidji State in November.
2018: As a sophomore, Buckley earned Academic All-Conference honors and appeared in all 11 games for the Huskies. He tallied a career-high 55 tackles during the year, including 40 solo and 15 assisted tackles. Buckley additionally tallied 4.5 tackles for loss, one sack, one pass break up and recorded a fumble recovery. He recorded a season and career-high 10 tackles in St. Cloud State's win over Wayne State in early October.
2017: As a first year, Buckley appeared in all 11 games for the Huskies. He ranked No. 12 on the team in total tackles (20) with 12 solo and eight assists in 2017.
