2019: Carrillo redshirted to preserve a season of eligiblity in 2019.
High School:Â At J.I Case High School, Carrillo was a two-time All-Conference and All-County team member. As a senior, he was voted team captain and was voted to the WFCA All-Star team. All the field, Carrillo was a member of National Honor Society and the National Society of High School Scholars as well as being a part of the Racine Unified Scholar-Athlete Academic Team. Carrillo was coached by Bryan Schredl.
Personal: Carrillo chose St. Cloud State because of the small class sizes and campus. He is the son of Ricardo and Julia Carrillo.
