2019: As a junior, Stecklein earned All-Conference Honorable Mention honors after appeared in all 11 games for St. Cloud State. A regular defensive contributor, Stecklein concluded the season with a career-high 33 total tackles (24 solo, nine assist), including 10.7 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks. Additionally, Stecklein recorded on break up, one quarterback hurry and one fumble recovery during the season.Â
2018: In his second season, Stecklein appeared in all 11 games for the Huskies. He recorded 26 tackles (15 solo, 11 assists), 8.5 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks during the year.Â
2017: As a first year, Stecklein appeared in one game against Minn.-Crookston on October 7.
Prior to SCSU: A two-time All-Conference selection...A three-sport letterwinner in track, football and basketball...had 80 tackles, seven sacks, 17 tackles for loss and an interception in his career...selected to play in the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association All-Star game…played football at Mt. Horeb High School for Travis Rohrer
