2019: In her first season with the Huskies, Heinonen appeared in one match for St. Cloud State. In that match she tallied four assists and six digs.
High School: Heinonen put together an impressive career at Delano High School where she was a two-time All-Conferene honoree and earned All-Conference Honorable Mention honors during her career. As a freshman, Heinonen was voted the team's Most Improved Player and was the team's offensive MVP after her junior season with the Tigers. She graduated at the top of Delano's volleyball record books, as she ranks third all-time in career assists (2943) and was just shy of the 1000 career digs mark, ending her career with 927. Heinonen additionally earned Academic All-State honors and was voted team captain her senior season.
