Kari Turkowski is a familiar name to St. Cloud State Athletics as she was a rare three-sport athlete for the Huskies from 2000 to 2005.
Turkowski was a stand-out setter from the Huskies volleyball team from 2000 to 2003. She dished out 2,816 set assists, which ranked her fourth on the all-time charts at St. Cloud State. Twice she landed on the All-North Central Conference team. She finished her caree with 857 digs, 698 kills, 113 service aces and 137 blocks in 384 sets played.
Upon the completion of her volleyball career, Turkowski joined the Huskies Division I women's hockey roster for two seasons from 2003 to 2005. In the spring of 2005 she competed on the St. Cloud State track and field team. She graduated in December of 2005 with a bachelor of science degree in accounting.
