Baseball to Play Minnesota Crookston in Moorhead April 9th

St. Cloud, Minn. - St. Cloud State baseball is hitting the road again Wednesday, April 9th as they travel to a neutral site for a doubleheader against Minnesota Crookston. The teams will play their doubleheader series on the campus of Concordia College Moorhead in Moorhead, Minnesota. First pitch is set for 11 a.m. from Cobber Baseball Field.
Going into the series with Minnesota Crookston, the Huskies hold a 19-6 overall record and an 8-3 record in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC), while Crookston is 1-23 overall and 0-12 in the NSIC. St. Cloud is ranked fourth in the country for DII baseball with a .347 team batting average.
The Huskies are coming off a 3-1 record this past weekend against Minot State winning 5-4 and 12-2 on Saturday and taking game two Sunday by a final of 16-3. On the weekend St. Cloud posted 36 hits for 34 runs.
St. Cloud is set to host their season home opener on April 12-13 against the University of Sioux Falls. Saturday's doubleheader will get underway 12 p.m. with Sunday's first pitch also at 12 p.m. from Joe Faber Field.
