St. Cloud- The St. Cloud State volleyball team matched up against the #3 Bulldogs of the University of Minnesota-Duluth this evening. The Bulldogs came out on top tonight as they defeated St. Cloud State in a tough three matches with scores of 17-25, 23-25 and 23-25. The score was tied 11 times during the second match.

- Kaitlin Doughty (Tomahawk, Wis.) led the team with 10 kills and a .308 attack percentage.
- Erin Ohlemann (Golden Valley, Minn.) tallied 28 assists and 4 kills and Macy Weller (Sauk Centre, Minn.) had 5 blocks
- Brianne Stamer (Hutchinson, Minn.) posted 19 digs on the night.
- Monica Tuner led the Bulldogs in kills with 14 and a .737 attack percentage. Ashley Hinsch recorded 39 assists and 8 digs.
- The St. Cloud State volleyball team will return to action Friday, Sept. 19 and Saturday, Sept. 20 in Halenbeck Hall. They will be going head-to-head against the University of Sioux Falls and Southwest Minnesota State University.
- Sioux Falls enters the match-up 5-4 overall and SMSU enters the match-up 6-3 with a win over Sioux Falls tonight in three straight sets.
