The St. Cloud State University baseball team (10-0, 0-0 NSIC) scored its 10th consecutive win of the season with an 11-3 victory over Briar Cliff College on Tuesday, March 10 in Tucson, Ariz.

The Huskies scored five runs in the first inning with RBIs by Mike Jurgella, Reese Gregory, Sam Boisner, Beau Fandel and Logan Swann. A triple by Fandel in the third and an RBI by Swann gave the Huskies a 6-1 lead. In the fifth inning, Jurgella added another RBI single to make it 7-2. SCSU completed the attack with four runs in the sixth to make the final 11-3. Bryan Rhode was the winning pitcher for the Huskies in the contest with seven strikeouts.

Of note, the St. Cloud State University baseball team was ranked #20 in this week's NCBWA Division II national poll that was released on March 10. This marks the first time in 2015 that the Huskies were ranked among the nation's top 25 DII teams in the NCBWA polls.

SCSU will play a doubleheader on March 12 in Tucson, Ariz. against Northern State.
