Skate with the Huskies and Special Promotions highlight Hockey Weekend at SCSU

The weekend of Jan. 20 and Jan. 21 will be a busy one at St. Cloud State University's Herb Brooks National Hockey Center as the SCSU women's team host Minnesota State-Mankato and the men's team hosts the University of Denver. The weekend will also offer the annual Skate with the Huskies event along with some great deals on tickets for all four games.
In women's hockey play, the Huskies will play Minnesota State, Mankato in games at 3:07 p.m. on Jan. 20 and Jan. 21. Ticket prices for the game on Jan. 20 are $5 and just $1 for the game on Jan. 2, and all youth (grades 12 and under) get in FREE. The game on Saturday, Jan. 21 is part of Hockey Day Minnesota and it will be televised live on Fox Sports North Plus.
The men's team will play #1/2 Denver at the HBNHC at 7:37 p.m. on Jan. 20 and at 7:07 p.m. on Jan. 21. Both games have been designated as Youth Night games with all youth (grade 12 and under) getting into the game for free with the purchase of an adult ticket at the ticket office on game day.
The SCSU men's game on Jan. 20 will feature a scratch-off ticket giveway with the first 1000 fans receiving a scratch-off ticket courtesy of Capital One. The ticket will give fans a chance to win prizes including two 50-inch televisions, an IPad, Beats headphone or a JBL speaker.
The weekend will wrap with the SCSU's men's game on Jan. 21 against Denver at 7:07 p.m. After the game, the annual Wolters Kluwer Skate with the Huskies event will take place on the main ice sheet at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center. Fans of all ages can join the SCSU men's hockey players for a post-game skate and get a chance to meet and greet the Huskies. The Wolters Kluwer Skate with the Huskies is open to the public and free. Fans can bring their own skates or rent them from the pro shop at the HBNHC. Skate with the Huskies is sponsored by Wolters Kluwer.
