SCSU baseball falls to #7 Azusa Pacific on Mar. 4

The #14 St Cloud State University baseball team lost a 13-3 decision against #7 ranked Azusa Pacific on Saturday, March 4 in Tucson, Ariz.
Azusa Pacific scored on a double by Staudinger and a single by Aspinall in the second inning. Azusa Pacific scored six runs in the eighth inning. Azusa Pacific's big inning was driven by a triple by Staudinger and doubles by Estrella and Quintero.
Dominic Austing took the loss for SCSU. He threw four innings, surrendering seven runs, ten hits and striking out six. Mitch Mallek, Zach Metzger, and Judd Davis each drove in one run to lead the Huskies. Jordan Joseph had two hits in the game and Mallek added a double. The Huskies had one run in the fourth and two runs in the second against Azusa.
