ST. CLOUD, Minn. - The St. Cloud State University football team (3-1) begins NSIC North play with a trip to Minnesota Duluth (2-2) to take on the Bulldogs on Thursday, Sept. 28, at 7 p.m.

- Minnesota Duluth won an overtime thriller over Wayne State on the road last week by a 34-31 score.
- UMD's Don Brager knocked in the game-winning 27-yard field goal in overtime.
- Ben Everhart led the offense for Minnesota Duluth by completing 27 passes for 422 yards.
- Jason Balts caught nine passes for 217 yards and a touchdown.
- On the season, Anthony Woods in the leading rusher with 33 carries for 162 yards and two touchdowns.
- Austin Slyvester has 115 yards rushing and a touchdown.
- Everhart is a dual threat quarterback with 68 yards and two touchdowns on the ground and 56 completions for 805 yards and three touchdowns through the air.
- The program has already used three different quarterbacks this season.
- Balts has been the top receiver with 28 catches for 481 yards and two touchdowns.
- Gus Wedig is the team's defensive leader with 26 tackles, five tackles for loss and three passes defended.
- Zach Bassuener leads the team in sacks with 2.5 and has a pair of fumble recoveries.

- St. Cloud is looking for its first win over the Bulldogs since the 2012 season and only the third victory over UMD in the last 10 meetings.
- The Huskies jumped out to a 27-14 lead over Minnesota Duluth last season, but were outscored 34-7 in the second half.
- The game was tied at 34 early in the fourth quarter, but UMD scored a pair of touchdowns less than a minute apart to take control.
- John Pass caught a 72-yard touchdown pass in the contest.
- Jameson Parsons hauled in five passes for 64 yards.
- Jaden Huff recorded 107 yards and two touchdowns on the ground.

- St. Cloud State defeated Augustana by a 26-14 score last weekend, Sept. 23, in a rainy contest that featured two lighting delays.
- The Huskies scored the first 26 points of the game.
- The program ended up 3-1 against the NSIC South Division this season and are 13-11 against the NSIC South since the start of the 2012 season.
- Adam Stage knocked in both his field goal attempts against the Vikings.
- His 46-yard made field goal was the longest for the program since Eric Mielke also made a 46-yard field goal during the 2014 season.
- In the last 11 years only Brian Cristan's 47-yard made field goal has been longer for SCSU.
- Stage has now made five field goals on the season which is one more than the team had the last two years combined.
- Linebacker Graham Miller led the defense against AU with his five tackles, a pair of stops for loss and a 29-yard interception return for a touchdown.
- For his efforts, Miller was named the NSIC Defensive Player of the Week on Monday, Sept. 25, for the first time in his career.
- He is the first SCSU player to capture a weekly award from the league office since Brett Wainright was named the Special Teams Player of the Week during the 2014 campaign.
- The SCSU defense forced three turnovers with Carvel Graham and Gary Koehring picking off passes.
- Justin Czech started at quarterback against Augustana and was just the third SCSU player to start at quarterback in the last 37 games.
- Czech connected on 10 passes for 114 yards and a touchdown against the Vikings.
- Gregory Lewis ran for 58 yards and a touchdown.
- Lewis has scored at least a rushing touchdown in three of the team's four games this season.
- John Pass hauled in four passes for 63 yards and a touchdown and also had a pair of rushing attempts for 14 yards.
- SCSU limited Augustana to 45 yards rushing in the game and held the ball for 37:05.
- The Huskies are ranked second nationally in rushing defense (40.5 yards per game) and time of possession (37:57).
- SCSU is 3-1 or better on the season for the ninth time since 2002.
