ST. CLOUD, Minn. - Due to forecasted inclement weather conditions this week, the NSIC doubleheader between #4 St. Cloud State (22-6, 10-4 NSIC) and Concordia-St. Paul (17-13, 8-10 NSIC) has been moved up to Tuesday, April 9 at Joe Faber Field. First pitch between the Huskies and Golden Bears is slotted for 11:00 AM CT, with the second game to follow at approximately 1:00 PM CT.Â

The Huskies were idle over the weekend after splitting with Wayne State College on Wednesday, April 3 at Dick Putz Field in St. Cloud. SCSU enters the week with a #1 rank in the Central Region poll with three first place votes and 80 total points.Â
CSP split with U-Mary last Wednesday, then was swept by Northern State over the weekend.
The Huskies have faced the Golden Bears twice already this season, with both meetings taking place at the Tucson Invitational Games. SCSUÂ rolled to a 15-6 victory in their first meeting where Najee Gaskins was 2-4 with 3 RBI's, while Mathew Meyer, Lenny Walker, Matt Quade and Ethan Ibarra each picked up two RBI's. Dominic Austing only allowed two earned runs and tallied five strikeouts while scattering eight hits over seven innings of work in his second start of the year.Â
CSP spoiled SCSU's perfect week in Tucson after winning 4-1 in the rubber match. The Golden Bears received a sterling eight inning start from Josh Gaworski who struck out four and only allowed one earned run on six hits.
