St. Cloud State baseball to play games at U.S. Bank Stadium on Feb. 25 and Feb. 26

The St. Cloud State University baseball team (3-1, 0-0 NSIC) will play a pair of doubleheaders indoors at the U.S. Bank Stadium in downtown Minneapolis, Minn. on Feb. 25 and Feb. 26.
SCSU will open the week with a 10 a.m. doubleheader against Northern State University (0-0, 0-0 NSIC) on Tuesday, Feb. 25. The Huskies will then complete their time in the Twin Cities with a doubleheader against Concordia-St. Paul (0-3, 0-0 NSIC) at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 26.
Fans planning to attend these games at the U.S. Bank Stadium should enter through the Lower Pentair Gate (off of 6th Street). Admission for this game is $5, and tickets can be purchased at the Lower Pentair Gate. Parking is at ramps and metered spots around the entrance to U.S. Bank Stadium (there is no free parking available). The gates will open approximately 30 minutes before the game.

The St. Cloud State University baseball team was ranked sixth in this week's NCBWA DII Central Region poll, which was released on Feb. 24. SCSU posted 42 points in the poll, while Central Missouri was the top vote getter with 77 points and Missouri Southern was second with 73 points. Oklahoma Baptist (59), Southern Arkansas (57) and Central Oklahoma (46) rounded out the top five teams. SCSU led all NSIC teams in the poll this week, as Augustana was seventh with 23 points, Minnesota State was eighth with 22 points and Minot State was ninth with 12 points.

- John Nett leads the Huskies with a .467 batting average this season, which includes seven hits in 15 at bats. Jake Shusterich paces SCSU with five RBIs and two homers this season, while Josh Hill has five hits and a .357 batting average.
- On the mound, Shannon Ahern leads SCSU with eight strikeouts and is 1-0 on the season. Younger brother Riley Ahern has seven strikeouts and is also 1-0 on the season. Both Ahern's have 0.00 ERA in 2020. Shannon Ahern owns a 11-4 career record at SCSU that includes 84 strikeouts in 106.0 innings pitched.
- In his 13th season at SCSU, Coach Dolan owns a 481-171-1 career record. At SCSU, Dolan has led the Huskies to nine NCAA tournament bids since 2010 (2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019). His team's have placed as the runner-up at the NCAA Division II Central Region tournament in 2010, 2012, 2013 and 2015. His teams have also been ranked consistently among the nation's top 25 Division II teams in the national polls over the past several seasons - including a number one national ranking during the 2015 and 2016 seasons...Of note, SCSU has won 40-plus games seven times during the Dolan era and his teams have charted enviable records against the region's top teams, including an 11-9 record against Minnesota State over the past five seasons and 13-7 against Augustana. In the last 10 seasons, SCSU is 26-15 against Augustana.
- After the games at U.S. Bank Stadium, SCSU will next play at the RussMat Invitational in the Orlando, Fla. area on Mar. 5-11. The Huskies will play a tough slate of games down south including dates against Wilmington, Ashland, UM-Crookston, Gannon, Minnesota State, West Chester and Northern State.
