Dominguez and Friis score in the second half for the Huskies
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – St. Cloud State Women's Soccer team recorded a draw to open Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) play on Friday evening at Husky Stadium in St. Cloud, Minn. The game's entire scoring came in the second half, as junior forward Jenna Dominguez (Geneva, Ill.) and redshirt senior forward Nicole Friis (Appleton, Wis.) each found the back of the net for the Huskies.
TURNING POINT
Shortly after Dominguez's goal put the Huskies ahead, 1-0, the Marauders responded with a pair of goals in a two-minute span to take control of the game in the 60th minute. The back-to-back goals shifted the momentum in Mary's favor until Friis would find the net six minutes later to even the score the remainder of the game.

- Dominguez found the net for the first goal of the season for the Huskies in the 47th minutes. The junior forward was able to muster six shots, three on-goal in the contest.
- Friis scored in the 66th minute to record her sixth career goal. She had three shots, two on-goal in the game.
- Redshirt freshman Evie Kohn (Stillwater, Minn.) made two saves on four Mary shots in the game.
- In the last three seasons (2018-19, 21), the Huskies are now 10-3-6 at Husky Stadium. St. Cloud State has produced a .500 record or better while playing at home in each of the last five seasons (2015-19).
- Dominguez and Friis each found the net for the sixth time in their careers.
