Huskies surrender two second-half goals
BISMARCK, N.D. – St. Cloud State Women's Soccer (1-3-0, 0-1-0 NSIC) dropped the first game of the weekend to the University of Mary (4-0-0, 1-0-0 NSIC) on Friday afternoon in Bismarck, North Dakota. For the third time this season, two second-half goals were all it took for the opponent to squeak out a victory.
Turning Point
The Marauders came out hot in the second half, as Rio Spruenken found the back of the net on a feed from Kendra Park at 59:39 to get the scoring started. The Marauders found momentum and took it to their second and final goal, when Jessica Lemmon scored off MaLiah Burke's assist at 83:36. The Huskies had opportunities with seven shots, but only finished with one shot on goal.

- Senior Forward Jenna Dominguez led the team with four shots, including the Huskies lone shot on goal.
- Freshman Defenseman Brooke Quam and Sophomore Froward Kristi Jazdzewski both recorded shots, also playing the full 90 minutes
Up Next
The Huskies look to get back into the win column on Sunday, as they travel to Minot, North Dakota to take on the Beavers of Minot State for a conference matchup that is slated for a noon CT start time. That game will be streamed on the NSIC Network.
