St. Cloud State Men’s Soccer announces 2023 schedule

Huskies to open regular season at Colorado Christian on Sep. 1, home opener scheduled for Sep. 10
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – St. Cloud State Men's Soccer has announced their 2023 schedule, featuring 14 regular season matches with six home contests at Husky Stadium. The Huskies will begin competition with three August exhibitions before opening the 2023 regular season on September 1 at Colorado Christian. SCSU's home opener is set for Sunday, September 10 against Truman State with Great Lakes Intercollegiate Conference (GLIAC) play beginning on September 15 against Saginaw Valley State. Four of the Huskies' matches feature opponents ranked in last season's final United Soccer Coaches Top 25 National Poll.
St. Cloud State travels to St. Thomas for their first of three exhibition matches on August 19 then visits UW-Eau Claire and hosts Bethel on August 24 and 26 respectively.
The regular season begins on Friday, September 1 with a visit to Colorado Christian followed by a September 3 match at Colorado Mesa. SCSU travels south on September 7 to meet Upper Iowa, then the Huskies play one more nonconference while celebrating their home opener against Truman State on September 10.
GLIAC play begins with home matches on September 15 and 17 against Saginaw Valley State and Davenport. St. Cloud State heads to UW-Parkside on September 22 and Purdue Northwest on September 24 before heading home for a three-match homestand. The Huskies welcome Northern Michigan (Oct. 1), Purdue Northwest (Oct. 6) and UW-Parkside (Oct. 8) to close out their home regular season slate.
Wrapping up the regular season on the road, SCSU will visit Davenport on October 13 and Saginaw Valley State on October 15 before their regular season finale on October 22 at Northern Michigan. The GLIAC Tournament will begin on October 29 and run through November 12.
