Sioux Falls score a run in the first and two in the third, while SCSU scored their lone run in the second on a sacrifice fly from redshirt freshman Grayson Fuchs (Paynesville, Minn.). The 3-1 lead was enough to hold for USF, who held SCSU off the scoreboard for the final five innings of the game.
