2022: McFarlane saved the best for last, as she put up career numbers in her fifth and final season with the Huskies. She was one of just four players to appear and start in all 54 games for St. Cloud State, earning CoSIDA Academic All-District honors for her play in at first and third base. McFarlane maintained a 4.0 GPA as a graduate student while hitting a career high .363 with 58 hits in 160 plate appearances. Of those 58 hits, 20 were for extra bases, as McFarlane tallied nine doubles, one triple and 10 home runs during the season. She additionally helped St. Cloud State break the program record for single-season home runs, ranking second on the team with 10 total. Defensively, McFarlane was one of the most consistent infielders in the NSIC, as she committed just four errors at the corners in 218 chances. Of those four errorrs, just one occurred when she played first base, making McFarlane one of the most consistent utility players in the conference.
2021: As a redshirt junior, McFarlane appeared in 42 games with 39 starts at first base for St. Cloud State. She hit .217 with 25 hits in 115 at bats, including 4 doubles, one triple and one home run for 17 RBI. At first base, McFarlane committed just one error in 205 chances, finishing second on the team with 196 put outs and a near perfect .995 fielding percentage.
2020: In her third season with the Huskies, McFarlane appeared in 21 games with 20 starts at first base. She hit .241 with 14 hits in 58 at bats, including one double, five home runs and 12 RBI. McFarlane committed just three errors in 123 chances at first base, with a team-leading 118 putouts and a .976 fielding percentage.
2019: As a sophomore, McFarlane appeared in 44 games with 34 starts at first base. She hit .276 with 27 hits in 98 at bats for the Huskies with three doubles, one triple, one home run and 18 RBI. She was named the NSIC Player of the Week in early March after helping St. Cloud State score over 50 runs in doubleheaders against Bemidji State and Viterbo. McFarlane committed just one error in 150 chances at first base for a fielding percentage of .993.
2018: McFarlane had an outstanding rookie season with the Huskies, as she became the first freshman in recent history to earn All-NSIC honors after an impressive rookie debut with St Cloud State. The first year designated player appeared in 44 games for the Huskies with 32 starts, compiling a batting average of .317, with 32 hits in 101 at bats. She was second on the team in home runs (8), RBI (39) and slugging (.634), and also ranked in the top-10 in several other offensive categories. McFarlane was even better against NSIC opponents, as she racked up 23 hits in 64 at bats for a conference batting average of .359. She finished the regular season. More impressively, 31 of her 39 RBI came against NSIC opponents, which ranked fourth in the conference at the end of the regular season.
Before SCSU: A 2017 graduate of Cedar Rapids Prairie High School, where she played for coaches Joe Yegge, Shannon Reisinger and Kylie Knopp...played all infield positions during her high school career.
Personal: The daughter of Dana and Emma McFarlane...kinesiology major at SCSU.
