Husky Football Travels to Upper Iowa

St. Cloud, Minn. -- The St. Cloud State University football team takes to the road for game two of the 2012 season. The Huskies, 0-1 overall will travel to Fayette, Iowa for a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) game against the University of Upper Iowa on Saturday, Sept. 8. The kick-off is set for 6 p.m. at the newly transformed Harms-Eischeid Stadium.

- St. Cloud State is 0-1 overall and 0-1 in the NSIC
- Upper Iowas is 0-1 overall and 0-1 in the NSIC. This game will count in the NSIC overall standings
- St. Cloud State leads the all-time series against the Peacocks, 2-1
- The Huskies are coming off a 320-19 season opening home loss to NSIC newcomer University of Sioux Falls
- The Peacocks traveled to Bemidji State to open the season and fell to the Beavers, 25-23
- St. Cloud State, ranked #16 last week in the AFCA Division II Coaches Poll fell from the rankings with the loss to Sioux Falls
