SCSU Volleyball Travels to Upper Iowa and Winona State

The St. Cloud State volleyball team will be on the road again this week as they travel to take on Upper Iowa University on Friday, Oct. 3 and Winona State University the following day.

St. Cloud State Notes

7-7 overall and 1-5 in the NSIC
Erin Ohlemann (Golden Valley, Minn.) ranks seventh in the league in assists, averaging 10.37 per set. Ohlemann has recorded 477 assists on the season.
Brianne Stamer (Hutchinson, Minn.) is still ranked second in the league, averaging 5.39 digs per set.
Shannon Klink (Hartford, Wis.) leads the team in kills with 118 on the season. Klink averages 2.62 kills per set.
St. Cloud State holds a .213 attack percentage as a team.

Upper Iowa University Notes

7-7 overall and 2-4 in conference play.
Jennifer Mundt has a team-high of 215 kills on the season, averaging 3.98 kills per set. Mundt is ranked third in the league in kills.
Amanda Weiss ranks seventh in the league in digs, averaging 4.52 digs per set. Weiss has posted 244 on the season.
Hailey Brown leads Upper Iowa in assists with 302 averaging 5.59 assists per set.
Upper Iowa ranks second in digs as a team, averaging 17.91 digs per set.
The Peacocks had a 8-22 record last season and went 4-16 in conference play.
Head coach Aaron Nelson is in his fourth season with the Peacocks.

Winona State University Notes

10-2 overall and 5-1 in the NSIC.
Danielle Rampart recorded a team-high 181 kills per set, averaging 4.21. Rampart is ranked second in the league for kills.
Mckenna Larsen is ranked eighth in the league for assists with 420, averaging 10 per set. Larsen in also ranked second in service aces, recording 22 total.
Jamie Cairncross is ranked ninth and Michaela Mestl is ranked tenth in digs.
Winona State is ranked seventh in hitting percentage, averaging .232.
The Warriors posted a 11-18 overall record in 2013 and were 8-12 in the conference.
Head coach Joe Getzin is in his first season with the Warriors.
