SCSU won a thrilling 31-20 road game against Winona State on Sept. 26. The Huskies took their first lead of the game in the fourth quarter on a Jaden Huff one-yard goal line plunge. The go-ahead touchdown was set up after Jameson Parson was able to run for a first down on fourth down after a bobbled snap on the potential tying field goal attempt. SCSU added a late Ledell White five-yard insurance touchdown to make the final score 31-20. Huff led the rushing attacked with 23 carries for 126 yards and two touchdowns. Nate Meyer ran for a career-high 109 yards and also completed 18 passes for 215 yards. Meyer's rushing total was aided by a 55-yard scamper late in the fourth quarter on third down to set White's touchdown run. Parsons hauled in five passes for 115 yards in the win. Brady Westart recorded a pair of sacks among his five tackles to help the defensive effort that limited the Warriors to three points in the second half.
