Volleyball Returns Home to Host Moorhead, Northern State

St. Cloud, Minn.- St. Cloud State volleyball returns home to host Minnesota State Moorhead and #13 Northern State University Oct. 14-15 at Halenbeck Hall.
St. Cloud State comes into the weekend after having a strong outing last weekend when they defeated Minot State 3-1 Oct. 7 and fell to University of Mary 3-2 on Oct. 8.
The Huskies (7-11, 2-7 NSIC) will first play host to Minnesota State Moorhead (8-9, 3-6 NSIC) on Oct. 14 at 7 p.m. The Huskies struggled against the Dragons last season, dropping both matches between the two teams. The Huskies were able to keep games close with half of the sets going to extra points.
Following the match with Moorhead, St. Cloud State will host Northern State University (13-4, 6-3 NSIC) on Oct. 15 at 4 p.m. The Wolves swept the Huskies last season, defeating them 3-0 in both matches between the two teams. The Huskies were able to out block the Wolves by a 5-1 margin in their first meeting last fall. The #13 Wolves will enter the match following a game against the #1 ranked Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs.
