Volleyball Travels to North Shore to Play #1 Bulldogs

St. Cloud, Minn.- The St. Cloud State Volleyball team returns to the road for an early week match-up against the #1 Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs on Oct. 18.
The Huskies (8-12, 3-8 NSIC) come into the match after a very solid weekend at home that saw them pick up their first conference opponent sweep over Minnesota State- Moorhead and then fall in a tight match against #13 Northern State. The Bulldogs (19-0, 11-0 NSIC) enter the match after playing, and sweeping, Moorhead and Northern State on the weekend.
St. Cloud State and Duluth have already faced each other once this season, with the Bulldogs pulling out a very narrow match victory over the Huskies 3-0. The Huskies were led in the match by Macy Weller who had 11 kills. The Bulldogs were led by Morgan Makenzie with 15 kills.
First serve is set for 7 p.m. and fans can watch the match here or keep up with live stats here.
The Huskies will follow up the match by traveling to take on Augustana and Wayne State before returning home Oct. 28-29 for matches against Southwest Minnesota State and Sioux Falls.
