Huskies Fall 3-0 to #9 Wayne State College

Wayne, NE- The St. Cloud State Volleyball team followed up a hard loss Friday night with another tough loss against #9 Wayne State College on Oct. 22.
The Huskies (8-15, 3-11 NSIC) had a hard time getting into the match, falling 25-14, 25-15, and 25-14 against the Wildcats (17-6, 8-6 NSIC).
The Huskies were once again led on offense by Nicole Miller who had nine kills while also accounting for nine digs. Micah Nier followed closely behind Miller with six kills and a block, and junior Becca Gruber added 4 kills. Marissa Kline dished out 25 assists, and dug 10. Clara Krenz tied with Kline for the most digs, ending the night with 10 as well.
The Huskies return to action next weekend when they play host to Southwest Minneseota State and Sioux Falls on Oct. 28 and 29. Tickets are still available for both matches and can be purchased at scsutickets.com or at the gate. Students, don't forget that simply showing your student ID can get you into all Husky home games for FREE!
