SCSU volleyball collects victory at Minot State

The St. Cloud State volleyball team gained a solid 3-1 victory at Minot State University on Friday, Oct. 7 in Minot, N.D. SCSU dropped the first game of the match by a 25-19 score before rallying in the final three games by winning scores of 25-18, 25-19 and 25-19.
The victory moves SCSU's record in 2016 to 7-10, 2-6 NSIC, while Minot State falls to 5-12, 0-8 NSIC.
The Huskies were led in the victory by Clara Krenz with 22 digs and Marissa Kline with 38 assists. Macy Weller topped SCSU with nine kills in the match, while teammates Becca Gruber and Taylor Rollo each had eight kills. Nicole Miller added seven aces for the Huskies in the match, while Marah Mulso had five blocks for SCSU.
Minot was led by Emily Falldorf with 16 kills and Kelsey Dewulf with 46 assists.
SCSU will wrap up its North Dakota road trip with a match at the University of Mary in Bismarck, N.D. on Saturday, Oct. 8 at 4 p.m.
