St. Cloud State Volleyball Picks Up First Win of Season over Edinboro

Golden, Colo. – The St. Cloud State University volleyball team (1-2 overall) won its first match of the season defeating Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in four sets 25-23, 25-16, 19-25, 25-20 on Saturday, Sept. 3 at the Oredigger Volleyball Classic.
Shannon Klink led the Huskies in the match with 14 kills, while teammate Macy Weller was close behind with 13 kills. Marissa Kline registered 44 assists and also led the team with 11 digs. Taylor Rollo registered two blocks on the match, and Nicole Miller had two service aces.
Edinboro was lead offensively by Challen Litwiller who had 14 kills. Sydney Trathen led the team with her 37 assists and 18 digs to pace the team.
The Huskies complete tournament competition Saturday afternoon playing University Nebraska-Kearney at 4:30 P.M MDT. Fans can follow along with live stats here.
