As part of the day's festivities, the SCSU is holding a food drive that will benefit the local Catholic Charities, whose food shelf provides food to people faced with missing meals in the St. Cloud, Sauk Rapids, Sartell, St. Augusta, and Waite Park communities. Fans coming to the games are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to donate.
At the game, fans will receive a team poster, which can be signed by members of the Huskies during the postgame, on-field autograph session that will take place following the conclusion of the second game of the doubleheader.
Those in attendance can also participate in one of the day's numerous planned activities, including Baseball Bingo, with the chance to win prizes from SCSU and its sponsors. Select fans will also be chosen to compete in on-field, between inning games and activities.
April 23 also marks Parent's Day at the ballpark, where families of SCSU players will be recognized for their support of the players.
Tickets for St. Cloud state baseball games can be purchased at the Joe Faber Field box office on game day. Tickets are $9 for adults and $5 for youth. SCSU students with a valid university ID will receive free admission.
