Julia Tylke signs pro contract with Sweden team, HV71

ST. CLOUD, MINN – St. Cloud State University Huskies women's hockey team senior forward Julia Tylke has signed a professional contract with the HV71 team in Jönköping, Sweden. Tylke finished up her senior season with the Huskies this past March after playing 135 games the last four years."Julia is a huge forward which we received good scouting reports and will add a lot to our team," said Peter Ekelund, HV71 GM.
Tylke leaves the SCSU program as a standout forward and one of the team's top-ten leading scorers of all time. In her time as a Husky, Tylke racked up 81 points (41 G, 40 A), 5 PPG, 351 shots, and 94 PIM.
The Delafield, Wisconsin native is a two-time WCHA All-Academic team member and has received WCHA Player of the Week honors four times in her career. Tylke was also named to the All-WCHA Rookie team her 2015-16 season.
