Jan. 8 Huskies vs Minnesota-Duluth Women's game to be broadcast on Bally Sports North, puck drop moved to 1:30 p.m. CT

St. Cloud, Minn. – St. Cloud State Women's Hockey's series finale with Minnesota-Duluth on Saturday, January 8 will officially be televised by Bally Sports North per today's announcement by the WCHA. As part of a women's hockey doubleheader on Bally Sports North, the Huskies and Bulldogs will be moving their puck drop to 1:30 p.m. CT at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center. Husky Productions wll be producing and providing the talent for the broadcast, featuring St. Cloud State University student media.

Four WCHA teams will be televised on the national network on Saturday, including Minnesota Duluth at St. Cloud State and St. Thomas at Minnesota. Saturday, Jan. 8 on Bally Sports North 1:30 p.m. – Minnesota Duluth at St. Cloud State 4 p.m. – St. Thomas at Minnesota Throughout the first half of the season, Minnesota Duluth has been nationally ranked in the top-10 and is currently checked in at No. 7/8. The Bulldogs travel to take on the Huskies of St. Cloud State that day, a squad who has surpassed their win total from the past two seasons through just the first half. The second game of the doubleheader includes the newest WCHA member in St. Thomas, as they travel to face No. 5 Minnesota. The two teams meet for the first time in Division I program history while their campuses sit just 2.9 miles apart from each other. Adjustments to the schedule include a 30-minute advance to the start time in St. Cloud, a matchup that was originally set for 2 p.m. To round out the doubleheader, the game at Ridder Arena was pushed back from its original 2 p.m. start time to a 4 p.m. puck drop.
