
Emma Polusny named WCHA Goaltender of the Week

St. Cloud, Minn. – St. Cloud State Women's Hockey goaltender Emma Polusny has been named WCHA Goaltender of the Week on Monday following her brilliant January 28 performance against No. 2/3 Wisconsin. Polusny made a career-best 54 saves on 55 shots in guiding the Huskies to a 1-1 draw against the reigning NCAA Champions, earning their first point against Wisconsin since 2015.
The honor is the fifth WCHA weekly award she has earned in her career. Polusny last won Goaltender of the Week on January 7, 2020 after a stellar showing at the Minnesota Cup.
Polusny and the Huskies next battle Minnesota-Duluth on Tuesday, February 1 with a 3:00 p.m. CT puck drop at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center.
