Lubner finishes sixth in long jump, DMR finishes eighth

MANKATO, Minn. – The St. Cloud State Women's Track & Field team had a trio of top-10 finishes and scored in two events on the first day of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Track & Field Indoor Championships in Mankato, Minn. Senior Faith Lubner (Reedville, Wis.) finished sixth in the long jump to score three points for the Huskies, while the distance medley relay team finished eighth to score one point.

TEAM SCORES

St. Cloud State currently sits in 11^th place with four points after the first day of competition.

NOTABLE FINISHES

Lubner posted a sixth-place finish in the long jump with a mark of 5.80m (19-5), her second-best jump of the indoor season.
The Huskies' distance medley relay team of senior Clara Welhouse (Green Bay, Wis.), senior Cassidy Lackovic (Lake in the Hills, Ill.), freshman Allie Butte (Oshkosh, Wis.) and freshman Greta Freed (Rochester, Minn.) finished eighth with a time of 12:42.43.

The NSIC Indoor Championships will conclude on Saturday, with field events beginning at 1:00 p.m. CT and track events at 1:30 p.m. CT.
