Minnesota State Open and Multi Up Next for St. Cloud State Track & Field

Huskies will have 25 entries in 13 events on Saturday in Mankato
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – The St. Cloud State Women's Track & Field team will head to Mankato, Minn., for the Minnesota State Open and Multi. The meet will take place at Minnesota State's Outdoor Track & Field Complex, with the discus competition on Friday, April 8 and the remaining events on Saturday, April 9. The Huskies will 25 entries competing in 13 events on Saturday.
St. Cloud State opened its outdoor season at the Hamline Invitational on April 2, as the Huskies recorded 11 top-five finishes in 14 events. Senior Cheresa Bouley (Zimmerman, Minn.) set a personal record in the 5000m run with a time of 17:50.80, while sophomore Julia Rowles (Plymouth, Minn.) placed second in the high jump, also setting a personal record with a mark of 1.60m (5-3). In the long jump, junior Parker Buske (Madison, Wis.) and graduate student Maya Taylor (Oswego, Ill.) finished second and third, respectively.
