
No. 9 Huskies Volleyball Outlasts Winona State in Five Sets

Huskies come out on-top of back-and-forth battle, Foley records 1,000th career dig
WINONA, Minn. – No. 9 St. Cloud State Volleyball (17-6, 10-4 NSIC) went back-and-forth with Winona State (16-7, 8-6 NSIC) and wound up with a five-set victory on Saturday afternoon in Winona. Both teams traded sets with three of the first four being decided by four points or less before the Huskies took control in the final set to come away with the 3-2 win, taking the match, 25-22, 17-25, 25-21, 22-25, 15-9.
Freshman middle blocker Hannah Bruskiewicz (Rogers, Minn.) and senior outside hitter Kenzie Foley (Sergeant Bluffs, Iowa) led the offensive attack for the Huskies, tallying 15 kills each while hitting .367 and .123, respectively. Sophomore setter Emma Berran (Inver Grove Heights, Minn.) provided 43 assists and two aces in the match. Foley added 22 digs to lead the Huskies, recording her seventh consecutive double-double and 15th overall this season. She also notched her 1,000th career dig in the match.

Hannah (Bruskiewicz) was very good offensively for us and our passers were fantastic, keeping us in system most of the night.
