
St. Cloud State Women’s Basketball Named to 2023-24 WBCA Division II Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll

Huskies ranked No. 2 after posting an incredible 3.847 team GPA during the 2023-24 academic year
ATLANTA – St. Cloud State Women's Basketball has been named to the 2023-24 Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) NCAA Division II Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll, as announced by the organization on Wednesday. The Huskies earned the No. 2 spot after compiling a team GPA of 3.847 during the 2023-24 academic year.
The WBCA Academic Top 25 recognizes NCAA Division I, II and III, NAIA and two-year college women's basketball teams across the nation that carry the highest combined GPAs inclusive of all student-athletes on their rosters for the entire season. Teams having a 3.0 combined GPA and qualifying for consideration for the top 25 in their respective divisions are also listed as special mentions. The 2023-24 season is the 29th in which the WBCA has compiled the honor rolls.
SCSU was the lone NSIC program to be featured in the Top 25, while Southwest Minnesota State and Minnesota State received special mention. Ashland (Ohio) claimed top academic honors in NCAA Division II with a 3.875 GPA.

St. Cloud State finished 2023-24 with a 18-10 record (14-8 NSIC), and advanced to the NSIC Tournament Quarterfinals after beating Minot State in a First Round game at Halenbeck Hall, 78-61. The Huskies fell to the No. 2 seed UMary in the quarterfinal game at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, S.D., 75-61.
