Brower plays 100th career match
Virginia, Minn.- St. Cloud State Tennis (1-2, 0-1 NSIC) dropped their conference opener Saturday afternoon as they were defeated 7-0 against Minnesoat Crookston. The Golden Eagles took two of the three doubles matches and then won all six singles matches.

Doubles
Minnesota Crookston would take the first match at the No. 1 spot as Daniela de Lucas Rivera and Ariadna Solis Guals defeated Maria Paz Aoki and Johana Brower 6-3. The Huskies would take the next match as Claudia Muñoz Perez and Lara-Maria Schafer came away with a 6-3 win of their own. The Golden Eagles would clinch the doubles point with a 6-3 win at the No. 3 spot.

With a 1-0 lead, Crookston came away with all six wins in singles play, five of which in straight sets to sweep the Huskies. Lara-Maria Schafer was the lone Husky to win a set, but she would be defeated 3-6, 6-4, 5-10 in the No. 5 spot.
