Title:
Assistant Women's Basketball Coach

Caitlyn Peterson will begin her first season as an assistant coach with the Huskies in 2022-23. Peterson joins the coaching staff after spending the last five season playing for the Huskies.

Peterson finished her fifth season with SCSU during the 2021-22 campaign. In her time as a Husky, she saw the court for over 100 games shooting 37% from the floor for the Huskies. The Huskies appeared in five consecutive NSIC tournaments from 2017-2022 and won the 2020 NSIC Tournament Championship. In addition, St. Cloud State appeared in the NCAA Regional Tournament the last three seasons. Caitlyn was named team captain in her final two seasons with the Huskies and received the Myles Brand All-Academic with Distinction Award during the 2020-2021 campaign.

Peterson has ben an assistant coach in both the North Tartan (4th & 6th grade) and MN Comets (8th grade) programs the past two summers.

Peterson graduated from St. Cloud State with a bachelor's degree in elementary education in 2021 and is pursuing a Master's in higher education and administration at SCSU.
