2013-14: Played a total of 8 games in her first season with the Huskies...scored 10 points for the season...made 4 of 7 free throw attempts.
HIGH SCHOOL: Bethany Best, a 6'0” wing graduated from Drummond H.S. in May 2013. Best was a three-sport athlete at Drummond High School, competing in basketball, volleyball and softball. A three-time All-Conference player and Team MVP in basketball, she scored her 1,000th career point during her junior season. She averaged 17.3 points, 11.8 rebounds, 2.8 steals and 1.3 assists in 2011-12. As a sophomore she was named to the WBCA D-5 All-State Honorable Mention team. Best is the starting catcher on the varsity softball team and a three-time All-Conference and Defensive Player of the Year award winner. On the volleyball court, she was a three-time All-Conference player and two-time team MVP.
“Bethany is probably the most athletic player we have recruited in our program,” said Fish. “Her ability to run the floor and rebound will fit our system perfectly. She has the ability to guard any position on the floor.”
