Husky football to host Minnesota Crookston in Hall of Fame game

St. Cloud, Minn. -- It's Hall of Fame Day at St. Cloud State University as eight new members will be inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame in a ceremony Saturday morning. Later in the day the new inductees will be introduced at half-time of the St. Cloud State versus University of Minnesota Crookston scheduled to kick-off at 1 p.m. in Husky Stadium.
St. Cloud State is 4-1 overall and 0-1 in the NSIC North division and coming off its first loss of the season. Conversely, Minnesota Crookston is coming off its first win of the season and bring a 1-4 overall record and 1-0 North division mark into the game.
Husky football will host a free youth clinic Saturday morning at Husky Stadium. The on-site registration begins at 8:30 a.m. with the clinic to follow from 9 to 10 a.m. The clinic is open to boys and girls in kindergarten through eighth grade. The first 200 youth to register will receive a free t-shirt and everyone will receive a ticket to the Huskies game that afternoon, a slice of pizza, an autograph session with Husky players and a Blizzard appearance.
And don't forget the Husky Fan Fest that begins at 10 a.m. in K-Lot. It's another day of food, fun, KAROAKE Â and games for all ages.
