
Husky Football to Host Minot State on Saturday

St. Cloud, Minn. -- The nationally ranked St. Cloud State football team will play host to Minot State University in a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) North Division game Saturday, Nov. 9. The kick-off is set for 1 p.m. at Husky Stadium.
The Huskies are ranked #4 in this week's NCAA Division II Super Region 3 poll and #17 in the AFCA Division II National Coaches poll and #19 in the D2football.com poll.
St. Cloud State is 8-1 overall and 4-1 in the NSIC North and bring a four-game win streak into the game. Minot State is 2-7 overall and 1-4 in the North.
St. Cloud State Athletics and the Husky football team will honor the men and women who have served and are currently serving in the military on Saturday. In appreciation of their service, the athletic department will provide free admission to military personnel and veterans plus one guest to the game.
The Husky Club will sponsor a Chili Cook-Off as part of the Husky Fan Fest pre-game activities on Saturday. Husky fans, alumni, students and parents are invited to participate in the Husky Club Chili Cook-Off from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in K-Lot. Registration for the Cook-Off is limited to 30 people and contestants must pre-register by Friday, Nov. 8 by calling the athletic office at 320-308-3102. Prizes will be awarded to the Grand Champion, second and third place.
