Moorhead, Minn. – The St. Cloud State women's basketball team traveled to Moorhead, Minn. to take on the Dragons of Minnesota State University, Moorhead. St. Cloud State fell to MSU Moorhead 89-56.

St. Cloud State falls to 14-10 overall and 10-10 in the NSIC. MSU Moorhead improves to 14-10 overall and 13-7 in conference play.

Lexy Petermann (Fond du Lac, Wis.) led the Huskies with 16 points. Petermann made 8 0f 14 from the field and grabbed six rebounds.

Freshmen guard Andrea Thomas (Mauston, Wis.) two of four from behind the arc and finished with 10 points for St. Cloud State.

Chelsea Nooker (Green Bay, Wis.) had seven points and three rebounds.

Meghan Roehrich led all players with 31 points for the Dragons.

St. Cloud State shot 29.9% from the field compared to MSU Moorhead's 46.9%. The Dragons outrebound the Huskies 45-38.

St. Cloud State will return to action next weekend as they host Minot State and the University of Mary in their final weekend of regular season play. Minot State is currently 11-15 overall and 6-14 in the NSIC. The University of Mary currently stands 9-16 overall and 7-12 in conference play.
